Many of today's chronic ailments have stress as their root cause. Swedish Massage addresses that stress by utilizing long strokes with kneading techniques to provide a passive stretch to muscles and joints. Decreased stress, increased circulation, increased muscle tonus, movement of lymphatic fluid & a systemic relaxation response are all benefits you will enjoy with this modality. Flannel sheets, wonderful scents and soothing music round out this truly relaxing session.

Connective Tissue Massage addresses chronic tension in your body's connective tissue, or fascia. Connective tissue permeates every muscle, bone and organ in your body, "connecting" all parts to each other. Tense fascia restricts your muscles and organs resulting in decreased blood flow, increased pain, decreased range of motion and faulty posture. Connective Tissue Massage reverses the negative effects of tense fascia, resulting in a feeling of having "created more space" in your body. CTM utilizes slow, deliberate movements that result in a truly relaxing experience.
Neuromuscular Therapy addresses chronic tension and trigger points with their associated pain patterns. Also addressed are postural dysfunctions caused by short, tight muscles pulling bones out of alignment. Conditions treated successfully with NMT include carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ dysfunction, plantar fascitis, patella tendonitis (runner's knee), sciatic pain, cervical, thoracic and lumbar strains/sprains among others. If you are experiencing chronic pain patterns that don't seem to get better, neuromuscular therapy may just be the push your body needs to begin to heal itself.
Similar to Neuromuscular Therapy, Orthopedic Massage is a style of massage therapy focused on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissues of your body, including the fascia, or Connective Tissue. Because orthopedic massage is designed to treat medical conditions, it requires extensive training. It involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons, Connective Tissue that intertwines throughout your body, and decompress rigid joints. Corrective exercise is utilized to stretch and strengthen the appropriate tissue to restore balance to the structures involved and facilitate the healing process.
Sports massage addresses the needs of the elite, recreational, and beginner athlete. Constant repetitive use of muscles in athletic activity may cause pain and/or decreased performance of those muscles due to muscle/tendon strain, ligament sprain, muscle/fascia adhesions and scar tissue buildup. Each session is geared to the athletes training schedule and condition of the muscles involved in the athletes sport. Choose between:
- Maintenance Sport Massage
- Rehabilitation Sports Massage
- Performance Sports Massage
- Flush & Stretch Sports Massage
- Full Body Flush Sports Massage
